Adventure Part 1!!!

Nothing but cold. The fogged danced and glided across the sky.  Howls were heard from the owls that stood dead still up in the old rotting trees.  Bushes that were leave less .  Crunch! as a twig snapped, I sprinted following a slippery path.  My heart raced ba boom ba boom! I took a turn and all I could see were Huge dark rocks formed in a circle.  I dared not to go any closer.  A horizon shone on the other side of the boulders that stood tall and strong.  Should I go?  Should I risk it? “But what if something bad is on the other side”? I wondered .

Will.i.am and the Koha

Today the one and only, music sensation Will.i.am came to our school for a very special assembly. The students at our school screamed and cheered, While the media recorded every little bit.. All I could think about was "WOW" Will.i.am is it really  him. Just one of the people I aspire to was in our very school hall. The very talented man donated $100,000 to our Maniakalani cluster . The Media were all here trying to catch a glimpse of the man him self.

Will.i.am was introduced by the kapa haka group then the senior hip hop performed their hears out. He stood up and gave us a speech about him and a little about his background  He told us why he was donating money to Maniakalani. To make scientists , electrician's, Mathematician's and any thing your really want to be.

The koha was presented by will.i.am to several students in the Maniakalani area. He got a koha back. A green stone which is a ponamu.

His speech was inspirational choose your friends wisely. They will help you to become who you want to be in the future. And remember family is really important.

I was so happy Will.i.am my hero came to our school donating money to our cluster and just being here. This made my day.

My Holidays

The Holidays were nothing but boring. Staying at home, Watching the X factor, All the drama on Shortland street keeping me hooked watching the omnibus on Sundays. What now in the morning causing me to race to the phone. But all that was going to change. I went to the wave pool’s , On Sunday I watched the migthy warriors clash with the GC Titans , Watching my mum umpire the NZ maoris and said goodbye to Sarai at the Air port.

We had just arrived at the wave pools. Rushing to the changing rooms me and Sarai had a race. Sarai her two friends Taimana and Harlem came. It was swim time. We got in and the waves rocked and splash us. Fighting the waves we started to tire. Bombing of the edge , Floating down the lazy river and Sliding down the hydro slide. We had an action packed day. Eating lollies and a snack box chicken from KFC.

Saying good bye to Sarai was hard.  I just couldn't believe  My closest cousin was moving to Australia with my aunty. We waited at the airport spending our last moment with our family. It was a really sad moment, But I can’t wait for her to come back.

On Sunday I watched the Warriors and the Titans battle it out for victory at Mount Smart.
Although it was bucketing down with rain I still sat in my seat in the upper east. The warriors won by 1 point as it was a close game. 2nd half the warriors were in lead but I'm still lucky they won.

Although some of my holidays were a bore Not all of it.
